SIWOPLAN has been constructing slurry earthen dam basins – colloquially known as slurry lagoons – since the late ’90s. Many of these are still in use today.
Over the years, it has become increasingly difficult to fulfil the requirements for the approval and new construction of slurry earthen dam basins. Today, for example, most authorities and federal states require a system approved by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt), Berlin.
SIWOPLAN has held this approval since the end of 2013. The first systems, which also include a floating covering for emission reduction, have already been constructed and are in operation.
We are happy to send you the complete approval documentation and support you throughout the approval procedure, but also with all other details concerning the construction of your slurry earthen dam basin.
